The Peace Corps Commemorative Foundation (PCCF) understands the importance of privacy to visitors of this Web Site. The following discloses our online information gathering and dissemination guidelines in connection with your use of the Peace Corps Commemorative Foundation web site. The Peace Corps Commemorative Foundation only collects personal information that is provided by the user within the following online web forms:

  • • PCCF Pre-Registration and Design Concept Submission Form(s)
  • • PCCF - “Get Competition Updates” Form


The Web Site currently does not utilize “cookies” for general web browsing. However, third-party services used in conjunction with the design competition may use cookies when users or registrants engage with these services to create an account or to submit a competition design. Third-Party services use cookies to track and authenticate user login sessions, login status, registration progress and payment. In addition, third-party services used for sending email notifications regarding PCCF competition updates may use cookies and/or web beacons to track if an email is opened and what if any links were clicked. This information is only used to better understand the effectiveness of PCCF communications regarding the competition updates.

Web Analytics

In general, information about visitors to the Web Site and your visit to the Web Site is anonymous. We do not use third party web analytics software. Like all web servers, the server of this Web Site uses standard server log files. These “access files” measure page requests and other non-personally identifiable information such as internet protocol (IP) addresses of the machine accessing the Web Site (IP addresses, etc. are not linked to personally identifiable information), browser type, referring/exit pages, platform type, date and time of visit, and errors encountered. This general information helps diagnose problems with our server and improve access to the Web Site.


The Peace Corps Commemorative Foundation sends a notification email to registrants who pre-register online for competition updates. In addition, each registrant who uses the Stage I design competition registration/submission/payment forms also receive a confirmation email and payment receipt. General visitors of the Web Site may also opt-in to receive emails after they have confirmed an initial email to receive PCCF Competition Updates. In addition, competition registrants will receive periodic emails from the PCCF regarding updates to the competition.


PCCF allows members to unsubscribe to general communications and notifications. To be permanently removed from the PCCF communications database, please email a request to with the following information:

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • E-Mail Address


On rare occasions, Peace Corps Commemorative Foundation sends out a strictly service related announcement. For instance, if our service is temporarily suspended we might send users an email. Generally, users may not opt-out of these communications, though they can deactivate their notification settings either via the website for registration notifications or via MailChimp, our newsletter service. However, these communications are not promotional in nature.


The Web Site may contain links to other web sites. Peace Corps Commemorative Foundation does not monitor or control the content of such web sites or whether such web sites collect or process your personal data. Accordingly, the PCCF assumes no responsibility or liability whatsoever for any kind of material available at such sites and recommends that you review the separate privacy policies of such sites.


The PCCF may occasionally update this Privacy Policy. Any changes will be posted to this site, so we encourage you to continuously review our Privacy Policy.
